Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit PRN

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit at Holy Rosary is a 5‑bed ICU that offers expanded Tele‑critical care services with Intermountain Intensivists for 24/7 critical care oversight and is part of a Level 4 trauma team. The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing the nursing process with technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence‑based practice, and coordination with other health‑team members. This position is PRN with variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
• Performs health teaching and health counseling.
• Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well‑being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
• Executes delegated medical functions.
