Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - PRN

About the role

Registered Nurse providing high-quality, technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Supervise and direct assigned team members
• Communicate clearly and foster a collaborative environment
• Ensure compliance with unit standards of care
• Promote a positive patient experience and continuous improvement
• Take accountability for performance and professional growth
• Build relationships within the team

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligible
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience
• Additional department-specific certifications as required
• Strong communication, accountability, and teamwork skills

Work Conditions

• Work hours vary, including weekends and holidays
• Shift primarily during the day
• PRN (as needed) work shift
