About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, technical environment. The role involves direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age-appropriate treatment according to standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure age-appropriate treatment and care.
  • Maintain clear communication and build collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Supervise team members and delegate tasks as appropriate.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Support patient education and provide guidance on health management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Maintain knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid Texas nursing license (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
