Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Meet the Standards of Practice for the Rehabilitation Unit and manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.
• Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
• Instruct patients/families regarding the disease process.
• Be responsible for additional admission paperwork specific to the Rehabilitation Unit.
• Participate in weekly patient care conferences, as needed.
• Assume the responsibility of charging the unit, as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-year of clinical experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting required; Rehabilitation, Rehab, Med Surg, Long-term care, LTACH, LTC
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-state Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
• Current BLS Certification are required.
