Registered Nurse - Inpatient Pediatrics

Role: Registered Nurse in an Outpatient Infusion/Pediatric Unit Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered nursing care for pediatric to adult patients, including assessments, developing and modifying care plans, administering medications, starting IVs, changing dressings, and inserting catheters. Ensure accurate documentation and follow safety protocols, report high-alert lab results, and serve as a mandated reporter for abuse/neglect cases. Communicate effectively with team members and provide constructive feedback for professional growth. Qualifications & Skills: Active RN license (IDFPR), BLS certification (AHA), PALS certification (AHA), and relevant nursing experience. Must meet departmental competency requirements and maintain up-to-date certifications within specified timeframes. Key Duties: Implement and evaluate nursing procedures, ensure patient safety, monitor intake/output, and support a fast-paced, evolving environment utilizing current technology and equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care across a broad age range in a specialized infusion setting.
