Registered Nurse - Infection Prevention Coordinator

We are seeking a qualified Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Nurse to reduce infection transmission risks in a healthcare setting. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing infection data, developing and reviewing policies, providing consultation on infection risk assessment and prevention strategies, educating staff on infection control interventions, implementing regulatory and accreditation changes, and supporting epidemiological activities to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing (master’s preferred)minimum of one year of RN experienceknowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, and infection preventioncurrent Arizona RN licensurecertification in Infection Control (preferred on hire, required within 3 years)excellent communication and computer skillsability to adapt to unpredictable situations, work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysexperience in acute care is preferred This is an exempt role with competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and pre-tax savings options.
