About the role
The Infection Prevention Coordinator (RN) will be responsible for overseeing infection prevention and control programs at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement infection prevention protocols and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of hospital facilities to ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Provide guidance and training to staff on infection prevention practices
- Monitor and report on infection rates and trends
- Collaborate with other departments to address cross-infection issues
- Stay updated with the latest guidelines and best practices in infection prevention
Requirements
- MBA or Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in infection prevention and control in a healthcare setting
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation processes
- Strong communication and leadership skills
