About the role

The Infection Prevention Coordinator (RN) will be responsible for overseeing infection prevention and control programs at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement infection prevention protocols and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of hospital facilities to ensure compliance with infection control standards
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on infection prevention practices
  • Monitor and report on infection rates and trends
  • Collaborate with other departments to address cross-infection issues
  • Stay updated with the latest guidelines and best practices in infection prevention

Requirements

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in infection prevention and control in a healthcare setting
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation processes
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
