Registered Nurse - In-House Travel ED Nights

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care by applying nursing knowledge compassionately and efficiently. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care through the nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care.
• Analyze medical histories, diagnostic results, and current conditions to develop personalized care plans.
• Prepare nursing processes such as medication administration and treatments.
• Reconcile medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for effective planning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse; clinical specialty experience preferred.
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state and BLS certification.
