About the role
Provide direct patient care in a Level IV trauma Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process to prioritize patient wellness. Support a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal outcomes through collaboration, safety, and quality at the point of care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency care up to and including level 1 trauma standards
- Employ evidence-based care models in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment
- Provide top-scope practice in emergency settings
- Support team collaboration and patient-centered care
- Model proficiency and precept new staff
- Contribute to safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Valid Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN, and BLS from AHA or Red Cross
