Registered Nurse - In-House Travel ED Nights

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, compassionate patient care, ensuring positive outcomes through effective nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care by utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care.
• Analyze medical history, diagnostic results, and current status to develop individualized care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments.
• Ensure medical records are accurate and compliant with standards.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams for effective planning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; specialized clinical experience preferred.
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS certification through American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
