Registered Nurse - Immediate Care of South Nashua - Per Diem - Foundation Medical Partners

About the role

Injuries and illness are unpredictable, which is why we offer Immediate Care. This quick, walk-in option allows our patients to see a provider without scheduling an appointment. We treat patients of all ages for non-life-threatening conditions. Immediate Care is open seven days a week, including evenings. The average wait time is 15 minutes or less! We always communicate closely with our patients’ primary care physicians.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and assist providers as necessary
• Room patients
• Take vitals
• Triage patients
• Call in scripts
• Other associated responsibilities

Requirements

• Current NH Registered Nursing (RN) licensure
• Prior work experience in a healthcare setting
• Epic experience, a plus!

Qualifications

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including Physicians, Physician Assistants, and other health professionals
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccines
• Perform point-of-care testing
• Collect and handle specimens within the scope of practice as determined by the Nurse Practice Act of the appropriate state
• Teach patients on self-management activities, medications, nutrition, health, and wellness based on the plan of care designed collaboratively with Provider(s)
