About the Role

The registered nurse (RN) provides holistic, patient-centered care in a cardiac stepdown unit, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to diverse patient populations from birth through the lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professional growth, accountability, and maintain standards of practice.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology and participate in clinical research if applicable.
• Maintain professionalism and accountability in delivering care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Advanced specialty certification.
• Hospital experience.
