About the role
Up to $25,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience!
The professional nurse in critical care uses the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care. The professional nurse considers the patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, language barriers, age, teaching needs, and readiness to learn. The professional nurse involves the interdisciplinary team in the plan of care and patient intervention.
- Independently cares for two (2) critically ill patients
- Assesses and cares for patients on a ventilator and understands alarms and parameters of the patients
- Understands basic dysrhythmias and the hemodynamic status of the patient
- Assists with bedside procedures
- Administers medications prescribed by the physician according to policy
- Functions in a mentoring relationship with an RN II or RN III in developing autonomous nursing practice
Requirements
- California RN License
- CPR certification
- Basic computer skills

Pay
$51.03 - $84.34 hourly. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
Schedule
- Job Shift: Nights (1900-0730)
- Job type: Full Time
- 6 shifts per two-week pay period
- Some weekends required
