About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Supervisor to oversee patient care, staffing, and operational safety in an Intensive Care Unit.
Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care while fostering a secure environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Responding flexibly to emergencies and unpredicted situations, delegating tasks effectively, and prioritizing daily duties.
- Supporting staff development by assessing educational needs and providing ongoing training opportunities.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, developing and implementing performance monitors, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
- Managing shift responsibilities such as chart checks, equipment logs, supply management, and unit cleanliness.
- Maintaining clinical competency aligned with patient populations’ needs.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing required.
- Valid Multi-State RN License; if from a non-compact state, must obtain within 30 days.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
- CPI certification and other specific certifications as required during orientation.
- Preferred: 2-3 years of acute care experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
