Registered Nurse II, Acute Care - Medical Clinic - Monday-Friday (No Weekends)

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Affirms the patient’s autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Ensures informed consent for indicated procedures.
• Acts on behalf of patients in an ethical manner.
• Participates in quality improvement processes.
• Participates in nursing research.
• Helps identify clinical problems requiring investigation.

Requirements

• 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing, required or...
• Vocational / Technical Diploma Professional Nursing Program, required or...
• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
• All RN’s hired and do not currently hold a BSN will be expected to demonstrate enrollment in a bachelor’s prepared nursing program within 4 years of hire. BSN must be completed within 10 years.
• RN’s licensed on or before 12/19/17 are/remain exempt from this requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a Registered Nurse, if experience is not relevant, Registered Nurse II must complete RN residency program, required
• Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse, required
• BLS certification will be required within 6 months
• Other certifications may be needed based on department requirements

Physical Requirements

• Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects

• Frequent fit testing

Pay

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

Pay Range: Minimum USD $41.81/Hr. Pay Range Maximum USD $60.87/Hr.
