Registered Nurse - ICU Progressive Care - Full-Time Night
About the Role
Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices. Adheres to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, including licensure, infection control, and confidentiality.
Develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams, setting measurable goals and ensuring continuity of care. Performs direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality and outcomes.
Uses performance indicators and participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care effectiveness. Educates patients and families, evaluates nursing practice, and ensures documentation accuracy. Acts as a patient advocate and collaborates with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
Maintains professional licensure, completes mandatory education, and reflects on practice for ongoing improvement. This is a non-management role that reports to a supervisor.
Requirements
- Active RN license
