About the role
This ICU Registered Nurse role involves providing safe, competent, patient-centered nursing care in a dynamic, part-time day shift setting. The nurse will assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diverse patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate interdisciplinary treatment and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Engage patients and families to address holistic needs in care assessment.
- Construct and execute personalized care plans integrating direct and indirect care activities.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary efforts to meet patient and family goals.
- Perform hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs such as pain management, repositioning, and toileting, while ensuring a patient-friendly environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
- Preferably one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
- Handle with Care certification within six months of employment preferred.
