Role Overview
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry provides high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Follow infection-control standards, hospital policies, and safety guidelines
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Schedule
