Role Overview
This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a Neuro Trauma ICU. The nurse will lead holistic patient management by executing personalized care plans, monitoring clinical conditions, and ensuring safe, evidence-based treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams as the primary care provider
- Facilitate seamless communication among specialties
- Advocate for patients by accurately translating physician orders
- Support patient transitions from hospital to home with proactive discharge planning
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN license from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- ALS certification within 180 days of hire
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure
- Strong clinical judgment
- Strong communication abilities
- Strong teamwork abilities
