Registered Nurse - ICU MedSurgical - Full Time

About the Role

This position involves providing independent and comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating clinical competence and the ability to manage patient contingencies. The nurse assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, addressing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine and complex nursing care following the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Make appropriate care assignments and delegate tasks to other providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; new graduates considered.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS certification essential.
• Completion of onboarding and annual competency assessments.
• Participation in orientation and preceptorship programs.
• Obtaining necessary certifications within specified grace periods based on experience level.

Schedule

This is a part-time role, with work hours from 7AM to 7PM.
