Registered Nurse - ICU MedSurgical - Full Time

About the role

A competent Registered Nurse with the ability to practice independently in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols and monitor their effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Attend orientation and complete competency validations.
• Collaborate with care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, or NRP may be required based on specialty.

Schedule

Part-time hours from 7AM to 7PM.
