Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and models best nursing practices
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure quality, safe, and compassionate care
• Carefully coordinates and delegates care in a safe environment
• Respects patient rights and confidentiality
• Utilizes evidence-based practices and technology to enhance patient comfort and outcomes
• Follows policies and the Florida Nurse Practice Act

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in nursing
• Licensure as an RN in Florida
• BLS/CPR certification
• Potential for supervision of Nurse Externs, LPNs, specialty techs, unit secretaries, patient care assistants, and CNAs
