About the role
Provide direct nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and serve as a primary coordinator among disciplines for coordinated care. Carry out physician and nursing orders, assess patient needs, and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- CPR (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school
