Registered Nurse - ICU

Role Overview The registered nurse provides direct patient care in a Medical Surgical PCU, utilizing advanced nursing skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities include implementing evidence-based practices, prioritizing patient wellness, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. The nurse models proficiency through precepting new staff and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care. Key Responsibilities Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process in a technically complex ICU environment.Support ongoing education and competency validation through clinical educators and specialty training.Participate in quality improvement, safety, and patient experience initiatives.Model professionalism and foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license.Minimum 6 months ICU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.Certifications in BLS and ACLS from recognized organizations.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
