Registered Nurse - ICU

About the Role

Seeking a competent nurse with the ability to practice independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side-effects, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Required certifications include BLS and RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.

Schedule

Work hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM on a full-time basis.
