Registered Nurse - ICU

About the role

Registered Nurses in our Intensive Care Unit are leaders and partners in patient care at Exeter Hospital. The units strive for a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 or 1:1, which allows the nurse to truly make an impact on the patient and family.

Responsibilities

• Multidisciplinary rounds are one way to support a strong physician/nurse collaboration as the nurse is involved in the decisions that affect the patient and their input is valued.
• The nursing leadership team partners with our education staff to provide opportunities for career enhancement and professional development.
• We recognize that our nurses and clinical staff play a vital role in the success of our organization.

Requirements

• 1 year critical care or telemetry experience preferred
• RN License- N.H. state or any other compact state
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certified or within 6 months of hire
