Registered Nurse- ICORT
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to provide services for the I-CORT team in Forrest County. I-CORT services are delivered face-to-face, by phone, or video conference in natural settings to support individuals and their families, helping them achieve recovery and resiliency goals while avoiding placement in state-operated behavioral health programs.
About the role
The Registered Nurse guides each patient to appropriate supports to maximize health and wellness, providing nursing services primarily in the community. Scheduled on-call work is required.
Responsibilities
- Guides each patient in the appropriate supports needed to maximize health and wellness.
- Monitors and maintains records of client services within electronic medical records in accordance with PBMHR, DMH, and CARF standards.
- Monitors consumers receiving medication; provides injections as needed.
- Closely follows the progress of each consumer, including follow-up efforts after discharge.
- Provides individual nursing assessment, evaluation, and therapy.
- Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
- May provide transportation for consumers in a personal vehicle.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Valid RN license in Mississippi required.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Auto insurance liability limits of 100,000/300,000/50,000 within 30 days of hire.
- Good communication, relationship-building, and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of mental health symptoms preferred.
