About the role
The Registered Nurse I provides high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in a general medicine setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments, utilizing physical, psychological, and educational data.
- Communicates and documents assessments with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring patient needs are met.
- Develops, implements, and revises individualized care plans based on evaluations and patient goals.
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, safety protocols, medication administration, and documentation standards.
- Completes clinical research forms utilizing recent research articles and maintains continuous education via approved contact hours.
- Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and participates in mandatory in-services and health screenings.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Physical ability to perform required tasks, including walking, standing, and lifting.
