About the role
We are seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a med/surg unit with a blend of medical patients, including those requiring consultations from specialists such as GI and Interventional Radiology.
Responsibilities
- Performing initial and ongoing health assessments
- Developing and documenting care plans
- Implementing interventions
- Evaluating patient responses
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to revise care plans
- Participating in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization
Requirements
- Hold a valid Ohio RN license
- Hold a valid BLS certification
- Hold a valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Experience in a med/surg setting is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts
