Registered Nurse - House Supervisor

About the role

FT REGISTERED NURSE - HOUSE SUPERVISOR Responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during shift. House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions during the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer and/or Chief Executive Officer. Must have skills and knowledge to sustain and evaluate competence in the care of the age and type of patient population served.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license with Nursing degree from accredited school
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications required
• Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Experience as a staff nurse with management responsibilities
• ER experience preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills required
• Demonstration of interpersonal relationships in a manner that enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, residents, family members, staff, the general public and governmental agency representatives
• Basic computer skills required

Pay

$60.00 - $78.00 per hour
