Registered Nurse Home Health

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) with Homecare is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in the home setting. The RN provides clinical care in compliance with hospice/home health policies and regulations, utilizing the nursing process and coordinating with other healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the home setting using the nursing process.
• Deliver care in accordance with hospice/home health policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.
• Utilize technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practice, and coordinate care with other health team members.
• Provide compassionate care to patients in their own homes, enhancing their comfort and healing.
• Gain specialized experience in areas such as wound care, medication management, and IV therapy in a homecare setting.

Requirements

• Current RN License in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
• Current driver’s license, insured and reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
• Manual dexterity for operating complex and delicate equipment.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
• Current driver’s license, insured and reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
• Manual dexterity for operating complex and delicate equipment.
• Minimum of two years working as an RN, or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $35.22 - $53.29, with actual rates dependent upon experience.

Schedule

Every other Saturday, 8AM-4PM.
