About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) with Homecare is a professional caregiver responsible for providing comprehensive care to adult and pediatric patients in their home setting. The role involves utilizing the nursing process, complying with policies and procedures, and coordinating care with other health team members.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in their home environment
• Deliver care in compliance with hospice/home health policies and procedures
• Utilize the nursing process using technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination with other health team members
• Provide compassionate care to patients in their own homes
• Gain specialized experience in areas such as wound care, medication management, and IV therapy

Requirements

• Current RN License in state of practice
• Current BLS Certification for healthcare providers
• Current drivers license, insured and reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to transfer patients independently

Qualifications

• Current BSN (preferred)
• Two years working as an RN
• Previous experience in an Acute Care, Home Health, or Hospice setting

Skills

• Manual dexterity for manipulating complex and delicate equipment
• Computer skills for documentation and accessing information
• Physical ability to lift and move patients and equipment

Pay

$35.22 - $53.29 per hour

Schedule
