Registered Nurse - Home Care - Weekends (Non-Exempt)

This role provides home-based nursing care involving case management, patient assessments, post-hospitalization care, recertifications, discharges, patient teaching, dressing changes, IV therapy, and access site care. It includes assisting with safety needs such as lifeline, meals on wheels, and public program instructions, ensuring compliance with policies and documentation using the Epic system. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing school Valid RN license in the applicable state Minimum three years of nursing experience, including at least one year in a hospital or home care setting Bilingual in biannual CPR certification Ability to lift 50# and transfer patients weighing at least 100# Physical ability to perform tasks like bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and driving Good visual/auditory acuity and ability to follow instructions Capable of handling stress, adapting to change, and learning CMS regulations Skills And Requirements Strong communication skills and patient rapport, especially with elderly populations Basic computer skills; experience with wound vacs and telehealth is a plus Valid driver’s license, insurance, and ability to travel 50+ miles Ability to perform complex tasks and maintain productivity
