Registered Nurse, Home Care
About the role
Mass General Brigham Home Care is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the "Logan" team, serving primarily East Boston and Winthrop, with additional coverage in Chelsea and Revere. Our nurses serve as case managers, overseeing the full plan of care while collaborating closely with LPNs, therapists, and social workers. You'll typically complete 5-6 visits per day, Monday through Friday, with time for documentation, chart review, and coordination built into your schedule.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse
- Minimum of one-year previous nursing experience in acute care setting
- Prior home care experience preferred
- Travel required within MGB Healthcare at Home geographic area
- Ability to work with various computer software required; knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to work with a diverse population
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and electronically
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of health care providers
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and adapt to unpredictable circumstances
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and adapt to changing situations
About the organization
Mass General Brigham Home Care provides non-acute, medically necessary skilled care in the home to help homebound patients recover from illness or injury and manage exacerbations of chronic disease. Services include skilled nursing care (IV drug administration, injections, tube feeding, wound care, care plan education), physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, medical social services, and as needed medical supplies.
Pay
$40.09 - $71.12/hourly
