Role Overview The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a nursing unit. They utilize the nursing process to coordinate care, ensuring patient autonomy, dignity, and safety. The role involves providing clinical leadership, maintaining care continuity, and collaborating with leadership to meet departmental goals. Key Responsibilities Interpret and review diagnostic data related to patient conditions.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement change.Guide and intervene during life-threatening situations.Evaluate intervention effectiveness and patient outcomes.Implement innovative processes to enhance patient care quality.Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, mentoring, staffing, and performance evaluations.Contribute to healthcare delivery improvements and communicate effectively with team members.Support ongoing professional development and complete assigned duties. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting or unit.Proficiency in computer literacy.RN licensure with BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
