Registered Nurse - OR

About the role

This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and patient education, in accordance with state standards and unit protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, involving patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
• Delegate and adjust tasks based on patient acuity and team skills to promote effective teamwork.
• Evaluate intervention outcomes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Support evidence-based practice and contribute to unit and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program required; OR experience preferred.
• Scrubbing skills may be trained during orientation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and respond promptly to on-call needs is essential.
