Registered Nurse - General Med/Surg (Acute Care Unit)

About the role

The RN will serve as a healthcare team leader, establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They will collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support peaceful death. The role requires applying best scientific evidence and compassionate care, with accountability for managing and providing care according to current policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing education and support to patients and families

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Active RN licensure in the relevant state
• Preferably one year of relevant nursing experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Refresher course required if license inactive for five or more years
