REGISTERED NURSE (FULL TIME NIGHTS) MED SURG
Responsibilities
Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed facility with specialized departments including emergency services, maternity, children's medical center, cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology. It is accredited for chest pain with PCI and primary stroke center services, and has received awards from the American Heart Association.
The Valley Health System (VHS) is a network of six hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, focusing on delivering exemplary patient care through clear goals, advanced technology, and continuous improvement. Employees participate in the UHS Service Excellence Program, emphasizing treating guests professionally and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
- Experience: One-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in the state of Nevada, current BLS Certification, current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.
- Other: Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
