Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Nights, Full Time)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The RN reports to their Nurse Manager and ultimately, the Chief Nursing Officer. North Country Healthcare (NCH) is a non‑profit affiliation of four medical facilities—Androscoggin Valley Hospital, North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, and Weeks Medical Center—located in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire. NCH includes numerous physicians and medical providers at multiple locations and delivers integrated patient care through three community hospitals, specialty clinics, and home health and hospice services. All new hires must attend a mandatory three‑day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH; if Weeks Medical Center is not the employee’s designated home base, travel reimbursement is available per the standard travel policy.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current New Hampshire RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Current clinical experience preferred.

Benefits

• Commencement bonus of $7,500.00: 50% payable at or around the hire date, remaining 50% payable after six (6) months of continuous employment.

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $41.39/hr – $52.87/hr – $57.10/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
