Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
- Supervise team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure safe medication administration
- Communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
- Support patient education
- Maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Valid nursing license in Texas
- Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency program
Skills
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to confidentiality and safety protocols
Work Environment
Primarily indoor, with physical demands including standing, moving, bending, and handling patient care tasks. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and skin irritants may occur.
