About the role
This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Document accurate medical records
- Observe and record patient signs and symptoms
- Follow physician orders
- Collect lab samples
- Adhere to infection control protocols
- Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Assemble equipment for diagnostics or treatments
- Participate in care assessment and planning
- Perform quality assessment activities
- Attend meetings
- Perform assigned tasks to support patient care excellence
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current RN licensure
- At least 2 years of ER or similar experience
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Excellent communication skills
- Compliance with legal, hospital, and professional standards
- Background clearances (for some locations)
