Registered Nurse - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the Role

Provides leadership and delivers professional nursing care in a versatile acute care setting, supporting ICU, step-down, and medical-surgical patients based on acuity levels. Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure patient comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and administer prescribed medications, monitoring responses.
• Document care accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions with clinical expertise and compassion.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: National certification in specialty area and one year of hospital nursing experience.
• Knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
