Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Hartgrove Hospital.
• Prescribe, coordinate, and delegate nursing care utilizing the nursing process, integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
• Accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
• Authorized to initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Illinois (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
