About the role

Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and families during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum at the Ada Family Birthplace.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor maternal-fetal status
• Administer medications, support pain management and breastfeeding
• Coordinate care plans with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document care accurately in the EMR
• Educate families on newborn and postpartum care
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and healing environment aligned with core values

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure
• Experience or knowledge in maternal and neonatal care preferred
• Strong communication, compassionate bedside manner, and teamwork skills
• Ability to support families through labor and postpartum processes
