About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient-centered care in an Oncology/Infusion Center, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions to adult oncology patients. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, monitoring treatment responses and side effects, educating patients and families, ensuring safety protocols, communicating with physicians, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA. Collaboration with the oncology team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions to adult oncology patients.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment responses and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment expectations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and the oncology care team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Oncology Certification and BSN degree preferred.
• Experience in oncology or acute care is preferred.

Pay

Pay ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour, with potential sign-on bonuses up to $20,000 for experienced RNs.
