Summary of Nursing Role

This position involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. The nurse coordinates patient treatment with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational values and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license valid in the state or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications may be required based on department, such as ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation, or specialized unit certifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
• Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
