Registered Nurse - Full Time

About the Role

A skilled nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) in patient care.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess educational needs and provide relevant education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to care team members to ensure quality care.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to obtain necessary certifications within designated grace periods based on experience and specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC).
• Must be adaptable to various credentialing timelines for certifications.

Schedule

Full-time position working night shifts (7PM - 7AM).
