About the role
AdvisaCare seeks skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide intermittent Skilled Nursing services in patients' homes. Services include recovery support, disease education, wound care, medication management, and coordination of care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient knowledge of home safety and disease management
- Manage patient’s drains, catheters, and PICCs or ostomies
- Coordinate care with physicians, other providers, caregivers, and family members
- Provide services using basic medical equipment and skills
Requirements
- Michigan RN License
- Michigan Driver's License and proof of insurance
- CPR certification
- One year of Home Health Experience preferred
- Prior ER or Critical Care Experience a plus
- OASIS Experience preferred
- Critical thinking and task skills necessary
- Computer skills required
