Role Overview
This position involves providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a float specialty unit, focusing on patient comfort and clinical excellence. You will manage the complete care journey, including documenting progress, executing orders, and updating the multidisciplinary team for seamless care continuity. You will coordinate care across clinical disciplines, advocating for patients to ensure holistic services and optimal outcomes. Additionally, you will assess patient needs in real-time, collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans and facilitate safe recovery transitions.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing
- BLS certification (obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Preferred: Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure
