Registered Nurse Float Specialty

About the role

Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a float specialty unit, managing the entire patient care journey and ensuring clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient-centered nursing care, prioritizing comfort and safety.
• Managing comprehensive patient care, documenting clinical progress, and executing physician and nurse orders.
• Coordinating care across disciplines, advocating for patients to ensure holistic, integrated services.
• Assessing patient needs in real-time, collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans and facilitate safe recovery transitions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications include Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
